The West House is situated in the beautiful and historic village of Biddenden in the Weald of Kent.

In the surrounding area, there are many places of interest to visit including Sissinghurst Caste said to be the epitome of the English Garden, The Oast House Museum which gives a glimpse into Kent’s fascinating history, and many award-winning vineyards.

There are also two local pubs, The Three Chimneys and the xx where you can enjoy a drink, as well as numerous picturesque country walks suitable for all abilities.

In nearby Tenterden, known as the ‘Jewel of the Weald’ you can also enjoy a coffee and a cake at Artisserie Patisserie which is co-owned by Graham and pastry chef extraordinaire Chris Underwood, after browsing the independent shops or riding the steam train on the Kent and East Sussex Railway.
